Making an Impact in Highlands County: AVID and the FLP Achieve Program

On February 25, 2025, Dr. Nadine L. Leblanc, FLP Achieve Regional Manager, and Susan Seliquini of WorkED Consulting visited Highlands County to see the impact of AVID and other FLP Achieve funded programs. 

They toured Lake Placid High School, Sebring High School, and Avon Park Middle School, exploring nine AVID classrooms and two directly funded programs. Joined by local education leaders, they observed engaged teaching environments and the transformative effect of the FLP Achieve Program. A day of exploration and inspiration showcasing the power of these partners!
