FLP Achieve Team Joins FDOE for FACT College Algebra Training

This week, FLP Achieve Director Dr. Joe Holcombe and Regional Managers Dr. Lana St. Hilaire, Wendy Edwards, and Jenny Numa joined colleagues at the The Florida Department of Education for the FACT College Algebra Course training in Tallahassee.

The group has been working diligently to understand the content and layout of the course, master the technical specifications that school districts will need to implement the course, and build relationships with teachers from around the state who will be implementing the course.

Among those facilitating the training were FDOE staff members Quin Coxetter and Dr. Kiaira McCoy, who are featured in the group photo above. Their guidance and expertise played a key role in helping participants navigate both the academic and logistical components of the course.

We are looking forward to the positive impact this course will have on students throughout Florida!
